Modest Mouse was formed in 1993 in Washington State. Considered an alternative rock band, Modest Mouse was signed to Epic Records in 2000. The bands name comes from Virginia Woolf's story, "The Mark on the Wall", which reads "...and very frequent even in the minds of modest, mouse-coloured people..." Modest Mouse tickets are available.
