The Vancouver Canucks get their name from Canadian folk hero Johnny Canuck. In spite of numerous Playoff appearances, the Canucks have not captured the Stanley Cup...yet. Canucks tickets at General Motors Place in Vancouver are available.
From Wikipedia
The Vancouver Canucks are a professional men's ice hockey team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They are members of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Canucks joined the league in 1970 as an expansion team along with the Buffalo Sabres. In its 38-year NHL history, the team has twice advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals but both times were defeated by New York teams: the Islanders in 1982, and the Rangers in 1994. Along with the Ottawa Senators, the Canucks are one of two Canadian teams to have not won the Stanley Cup.
