Katt Williams started as a stand up comedian most notably appearing on BET Comic View. His jokes and punchlines instantly made the show a favorite. He has also played supporting characters in movies such as First Sunday, Norbit, and probably more widely recognized for his character in the movie Friday After Next as "Money Mike". He has also provided numerous skits and video appearances for artists such as The Game, Ludacris, E-40, Outkast, Lil’ Kim, Lyfe Jennings, Nick Cannon, DJ Drama, Lil' Scrappy, Lil Jon, and others. He was a cast member on Wild 'n Out for several seasons. He also has made a couple of voice apperances in the Adult Swim show "The Boondocks". In 2006, Williams starred on his own new stand-up HBO show, The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1. He is considered a "Harlem World Diplomat" and member of the Dipset Family (The Diplomats).
In 2008, Williams made news when he handed out $100 bills to audience members at one of his standup performances in Los Angeles' famed Laugh Factory comedy club.
